In 2009, the Rheology Research Center will host The Society of Rheology for its 81st Annual Meeting. Professor Giacomin will chair the Local Arrangements Committee. This meeting will be held October 18-22, 2009 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center. The meeting is organized in conjunction with the Conference Planning Services Department of the University of Wisconsin-Extension.

This will be the fourth time that the RRC will host an annual meeting of The Society of Rheology, previous meetings hosted in 1961, 1977 and 1999.
