Our rheology research often culminates in patents. Where these are foreseen, the standard research agreement is normally complemented by the standard patent agreement with a right of first refusal to an exclusive license for the funding party. The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation now assists the Rheology Research Center in negotiating these agreements, patenting rheological inventions, and transferring these technologies to the marketplace.
