RRC Rheology Research Center

Undergraduate Rheology Seminar, ChE 425

(Crosslisted with Chem, EMA and ME) I, II; 0-1 cr.

A rheology seminar course encouraged for all undergraduates interested in professions relating to polymers and rheology. Invited lecturers give research presentations at the cutting edge of polymer engineering and science. Registration in Chem425, ChE425, EMA425 and ME425 creates a permanent record on the academic transcript of attendance and association with the Rheology Research Center. This course will not count toward credit requirement of the major. Thus, undergraduates typically register for zero credits in every semester in which they attend. Optionally, undergraduate students can also register for one credit. The Undergraduate Rheology Seminar meets with the graduate Rheology Research Seminar.

Prerequisite: Consent of instructor or Junior Standing.

Course Coordinator: A. Jeffrey Giacomin, Professor
