One RRC department, Mechanical Engineering, offers a 120 credit bachelors degree. This is carefully designed for completion in four years. The Master of Engineering (Polymer Engineering and Science), now offered through the Rheology Research Center, is designed for completion in two regular semester. Each RRC department also offers a one-year Course Master's. Thus, the UW is at a competitive advantage for recruiting top undergraduates interested in polymer engineering and in completing their bachelors plus master's in five years.
